Just a quick word. It's not necessairily inspired or pertaining to faith. I was browsing comments from so many of my Facebook friends. The common theme seemed to be sadness over their kids heading back to school. Often the mourning wasn't over the kids being out of the house, but how old they felt since their child had reached a certain age. Marilyn and I have you beat. The oldest son just graduated from Bryan College and the youngest is entering his second year at Chattanooga State. Yesterday I wrote his tuition check. I no longer feel old, just broke!
Philippians 4:11-13 (NKJV)
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
